I am currently in my twenties and enduring my last year of graduate school for my Masters in Accountancy! That's right accountants love to read too! Last year I received a Nook Color for Christmas and it re-ignited my spark for reading! Now that I have my nook I am reading more than ever! I still prefer to read hard copy vs. ebooks but the convenience of ebooks has allowed to me to read much more than I would otherwise be able to! The only downside is the damage to my bank account... it is just way to easy for me to spend lots of money on books since I can be in bed purchase a book and immediately start reading! My current love for books rivals my love for shoes. Here's hoping I land an awesome job to support my shoes/books habit! With grad school and my job I am not able to read as much as I would like but I still try to read as much as I can.
I just recently discovered the world of book blogs and wow I can't believe I did not find this out sooner! My wish list of books to read has tripled since this discovery! I am using this blog as a way to record the books I read and what I liked/disliked about them. I find myself recommending books to friends but if it was something I read awhile back I can never seem to remember exactly why I loved them so I figure this is a great way to be able to go back and see specifically what I love about each book! This blog will also allow me to easily stay up to date with everything going on in the book world (Can't wait to get started eek!) At any given time I am usually reading one nook book and one hard copy book. Also beware that I am not an aspiring author, in fact I am a terrible writer, don't expect anything profound or fancy. I am also going to hopefully record other things that happen in my life so I guess it's kind of like a public journal.
